Xiaomi 14 Ultra are available worldwide with IP68 certifications: Following a local launch, Xiaomi’s most recent camera-focused flagship and its smaller sister are making their way to Europe.

As promised, Xiaomi also unveiled the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, which is the company’s flagship smartphone for international markets. The Xiaomi 14 was first shown in China last week.
The phone sports a 6.78-inch 2K custom C8 AMOLED LTPO screen that supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+ and has a max brightness of 3000 nits. The refresh rate is configurable between 1 and 120 Hz. It has PWM dimming at 1920 Hz. The phone will receive four generations of Android OS upgrades and five years of security fixes. It is powered by HyperOS, which is based on Android 14.
The phone includes a novel 4000mm2 Dual-Channel IceLoop cooling system with Vapor-liquid separation design, which promises three times the performance of typical VC. It is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and has 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage.
The primary camera on the Xiaomi 14 Pro (which debuted alongside the 14 in China back in October but isn’t included in today’s presentation) makes use of the new 1-inch-type Sony LYT-900 sensor, which is also found on the Oppo Find X7 Ultra. It also has the variable aperture technology.
With a 50MP 1″ big Sony LYT-900 sensor and an f/1.63 ~ f/4 1024-step variable aperture, the phone’s quad rear cameras capture every detail with clarity and have a dynamic range of up to 13.5 EV. It has three cameras with Leica Summilux lenses: a 50MP ultra-wide, a 50MP 3.2X telephoto, and a 50MP 5x periscope telephoto.
The device can also record in both surround and directional sound modes with to the inclusion of a fourth microphone, or 4-Mic array, and Dolby Vision filming at 4K 60 frames per second, according to the firm. A 180° shutter rule and 2.39:1 aspect ratio are new features of the Movie mode. To capture better details, highlights, and shadows, HDR films are encoded in 10-bit Rec.2020 using the all-new MasterCinema.
In comparison to the Xiaomi 13 Pro, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra boasts twice as much stiffness thanks to its new 6M42 integrated high-strength aluminum frame material, which extends to the rear of the body. Additionally, it offers IP68 water and dust resistant certifications.
With its 5300mAh battery, it can be fully charged in 34 minutes with 90W wired charging, 49 minutes with 80W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging. Xiaomi Surge G1 battery management chipsets and Xiaomi Surge P2 charging chipsets are available.

Priced at 1,499.99 Euros (USD 1625 / Rs. 1,34,720 approx.) for the single 16GB + 512GB version, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is available in Black and White with a vegan leather finish. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra Photography Kit is available for 199.99 Euros (USD 216 / Rs. 17,960 approx.). In Europe, the phone is already being released.
