Dedicated key button for Cortana in keyboard in windows 10
The Windows 10 systems which are scheduled to arrive later this year Toshiba is going to change the keyboard. Toshiba will add a dedicated key button for Cortana in keyboard in windows 10, Microsoft’s digital assistant.
Jeff Barney, GM of Toshiba America told PC world that the Cortana key will appear on all of the Toshiba’s Windows 10 systems. This includes laptops, notebooks and convertible devices. Currently, Cortana can be accessed through the search key in windows Phone devices. On the PC, a tap on Cortana icon is required for touch enabled devices and a click in regular PC.
Toshiba has planned to place the Cortana access key somewhere on the top left corner near Function Keys. This would be a major change in the keyboard since 1995, when manufacturers added a key for Windows button.
Windows 10 will be released on July 29th. So the change can be expected after the release only.Other mouse and keyboard manufacturers might or might not follow the same approach.
